Gravity
"Oh can you see the gravity falling, calling us home.....just to show we belong"
After I heard this song multiple times, the above words from the song really got to me. It never ever occurred to me before that the fact that gravity pulls us to the ground shows we belong. We have a purpose. We aren't here by accident. Whoever dropped us here must have had the intention to bring us to earth and not let us float around in space not being able to hang on to anything. And.."it's love, it's love that holds us, we will be alright". Without love, we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves, live with another human or thing and when things go from worse to worse, who would hug us? Who would give us a sweet or be kind to us? How would we feel alright?
Thanks for reading and have a love-filled day!

Is Love Really Heart Shaped?
From primary school, what is now universally categorised as the heart-shape, used to be called love. And when we were being taught organs in the body and I asked the question (or maybe someone else did in class cannot remember) if the human heart was really heart-shaped. Well if you have seen the diagram of the human heart or lucky enough to see the real one, you may see it takes imagination to make out the well known heart-shape. But is love heart-shaped?
Well, I'd say yes. But love is not material. It is untouchable. It is an abstract noun. You can only feel it. It is not an object we can see, so how on earth can I say it is heart shaped? :o
Lets look at the components of a heart-shape. Let's divide into two, and we have this erm bendy curve that turns into a slanting curve. That shape seems to have a beginning and an end. You pour something into it and it comes out the other end. It has an up and a down, and the shape looks weird, empty, meaningless, purposeless, incomplete, probably looks like something - a French Curve that is - someone like me hates because it reminds them of Technical Drawing class.
Then we draw another shape, that reflects the other, and join it together perfectly and we have a shape. It has no beginning or end. If something was poured inside, it would fill the two, and that would make the shape grow to allow more. It looks like something you can recognise and hopefully love. It has a down with very little space but the top with larger space, this shape seems to spread out, looks like it just wants to grow and bloom.
I think the second shape is how love is. It is endless and it's beginning cannot be traced back. It just wants to grow and multiply. It needs to be expressed in a relationship to be complete, starting first with oneself then another and it is complete. It cannot be expressed without having started with oneself.
Yes, I think love is heart-shaped.
We Found Dove In A Soapless Place
Been seeing this around and decided to make a play on it. Enjoy! :o)
Moisturizing one by four
On my skin yes it feels so nice
When I walk in through the door
People turn yes it smells so fly
And it's a feeling that I can't deny
I can't let my dove go
We found dove in a soapless place
So I found it in the shops
Later on, on my TV ad
I must say I was so engrossed
It was like a love I found
And it's a feeling that I can't deny
I can't let my dove go
We found dove in a soapless place
Moisturizing one by four
On my skin yes it feels so nice
When I walk in through the door
People turn yes it smells so fly
And it's a feeling that I can't deny
I can't let my dove go
We found dove in a soapless place
So I found it in the shops
Later on, on my TV ad
I must say I was so engrossed
It was like a love I found
And it's a feeling that I can't deny
I can't let my dove go
We found dove in a soapless place
A Rainbow At A Bend
This poem is inspired by a picture I saw on the internet which unfortunately I can't share because I don't have the permission (but if you google it, you may find it).
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Curving above a leaf bare tree
I stare at one of nature's beauty for free
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Neither has the promised pot of gold
Yes I checked, it was plain and bold
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It reminds me of how love is
No, how human love is
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Like human love it has an end
Like human love it curves and bends
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It is beautiful to start with
But when it fades there's nothing
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It only leaves fine memories
That you can only touch and not feel
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
The bad times lie where the rainbow ends
You find the ground, and you can feel it
There is a rainbow at a bend
What a beautiful rainbow with two ends
Like human love it's the sun kissing the rain
Just like smiles and tears in fun and pain
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Curving above a leaf bare tree
I stare at one of nature's beauty for free
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Neither has the promised pot of gold
Yes I checked, it was plain and bold
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It reminds me of how love is
No, how human love is
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
Like human love it has an end
Like human love it curves and bends
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It is beautiful to start with
But when it fades there's nothing
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
It only leaves fine memories
That you can only touch and not feel
There is a rainbow at a bend
This rainbow I see both ends
The bad times lie where the rainbow ends
You find the ground, and you can feel it
There is a rainbow at a bend
What a beautiful rainbow with two ends
Like human love it's the sun kissing the rain
Just like smiles and tears in fun and pain
